"Do Americans Get That Trump Is Instituting Martial Law?"

And this is the most frightening picture I've seen today, and in a long time. Maybe it's isolated and I'm blowing it out of proportion, but this woman? She's terrified. And the soldier is equally wild-eyed. They're both Americans. This is so very wrong. (Nathan Howard/Getty Images)

I'm keeping these as a sign of the times. Not because I'm afraid I'll forget what I'm thinking...because it is blatantly obvious to me, and always will be. I'm just marking time, keeping myself alert to everything. This is the most momentous year in modern American history since at least 1968, and possibly since the days of World War II. Certainly the most momentous year of the millennium, far eclipsing 2001.
